The ASUS ROG Phone II is here and it's the DREAM Gaming phone! 🔥 Snapdragon 855 PLUS (15% faster graphics), 12 GB RAM, 120Hz AMOLED screen, 6,000 mAh Battery, Headphone Jack AND a huge range of accessories (it's like an Android Nintendo Switch!). But should anyone REALLY buy a Android Gaming Phone like the ROG Phone 2?
Out of the Razer Phone 2‘s many features, its 120Hz display is one of the biggest highlights. It’s hard to go back to a regular smartphone display once you plant your eyes on a display that can refresh up to 120 times a second.
As with the “UltraMotion” display on the original Razer Phone, the high refresh rate not only allows for smooth gameplay, but smooth navigation throughout the OS as well.
Thankfully, Razer has put together a full list of compatible titles on its website, with over 100 titles supporting high refresh rates. These titles include favorites like Injustice 2, Pokémon Go, Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, and Vainglory, just to name a few.

While the Razer Phone 2’s 120Hz display may be the flagship’s most attention grabbing feature, it still has plenty of other things going for it. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and 8GB of RAM help to keep things smoothly chugging along, while the 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage should be plenty for all your media needs.
Two 12MP cameras sit around back, while the back material swaps out the aluminum of the original Razer Phone for glass. Even though this makes the phone more prone to breaking when dropped, it also means the inclusion of Qi wireless charging.
Finally, there’s a massive 4,000mAh battery to keep you gaming on-the-go and two front-facing speakers to keep you immersed in the action.
